Côté Lumière – Gabon

This project envisions the design of a new administrative capital located approximately 30 minutes from Libreville, strategically positioned along the estuary. Conceived as a forward-looking urban model, the masterplan introduces state-of-the-art administrative districts along-side carefully planned management suburbs, integrating governance, living, and public life within a cohesive spatial framework. The city is structured around contemporary planning principles, prioritising clarity, accessibility, and environmental responsiveness, while leveraging the estuary as a defining natural asset. Through a balanced relationship between built form, infrastructure, and landscape, the project establishes a sustainable and resilient capital designed to support long-term growth and national identity.
