PRAIA VIEW – NORTH COAST

Architecture

The primary challenge of Praia View was redefining the traditional North Coast development model. Situated on the inland side of the coastal highway, the site lacked the direct beachfront access and uninterrupted sea views that typically define coastal living.

The master-plan responds by transforming this perceived disadvantage into a design opportunity. Through strategic grading and landform manipulation, elevated viewpoints were created across the site to maximise visual connections to the Mediterranean. Residential clusters were carefully positioned to capture these views while establishing a hierarchy of internal outlooks.

A system of interconnected lagoons and curated landscapes was introduced to bring the coastal experience into the heart of the development, reducing reliance on the shoreline as the sole defining amenity. This landscape framework links neighbourhoods, creates premium waterfront frontages, and establishes a continuous resort-like environment throughout the master-plan.

By leveraging topography, water, and landscape, Praia View demonstrates how a coastal destination can be successfully created beyond the seafront, offering a distinctive interpretation of North Coast living on the opposite side of the highway.
