Being part of Mountain View’s thriving community, I-City extends the neighbourhood with a new destination for sports, recreation, and social life. Die Stadt’s vision for the club goes beyond the individual facilities, using landscape as the element that brings the entire experience together.
The design is organised around a generous central landscape, connecting sports fields, courts, pools, play areas, and social spaces through a network of shaded pathways, planted edges, and gathering spaces. Each area has its own character while remaining part of a cohesive landscape.
For us, landscape is more than an aesthetic layer. It defines spaces, guides movement, creates moments of discovery, and gives people places to gather and memories to take with them. Through the integration of sport, landscape, and community, the club becomes more than a place for activity. It becomes a place to experience, connect, and belong.
