Siyal is the second parcel we were entrusted to design within Orascom’s Makadi Heights in Hurghada, exploring a new expression of waterfront living within the wider development. Located further from the natural shoreline, the challenge was to recreate the sense of connection to water through the landscape, bringing the waterfront experience directly into the heart of the neighbourhood.

The masterplan is shaped by a series of lagoons that weave between the residential areas, creating intimate waterside moments and a sequence of organic spaces for residents to gather, relax, and move through. Soft landscape, flowing pathways, and carefully framed views allow the water to become a constant presence, transforming what could have been a limitation of distance into a defining feature of the experience. Siyal brings the feeling of the coast inland, creating a refined landscape where water, nature, and everyday living come together.
